Henna profile

Ladies and Gentlemen I give you ~*Henna*~!!
For =iluvwrath 's contest
I decided to go ahead and submit a mare concept I came up with a long time ago and never used for anything. 'Henna' as I like to call her, is a pale cream, fading to a rosey hue along her points stomach, flank and legs. Her mane and tail vary from light strawberry brown to a nearly chocolate color depending on the seasons, and her body is covered in elaborate traditional east-indian henna tattoo designs. Her eyes are a soulful, deep sea green color.

Please note how her mane and tail are actually quite unusually curly, and her henna markings are darker in color. This is because like a traditional Henna tattoo, Henna's markings fade, though never permanently. Just with the changing of seasons the way certain hare, mink and owls do. So during the summer seasons her markings are quite vibrant and dark chocolaty while her base color is a rich cream, and in the winter seasons her creaminess turns nearly white and her markings are barely a pastel wisp of brown color. ^_^ *pets the lil' lovely* this would be a depiction of someplace between the end of fall and beginning of winter.
